i volunteer as systems/network for nocat.net wireless co-op in rural Sonoma County, California (Western Sonoma County Internet Cooperative Corportation, wscicc.org), and Alembic provides free hosting for Internet presence for dozens of non-profit organizations. i also volunteer for San Francisco Community Colo Project which assists larger non-profit organizations with Internet presence. in the Internet tradition, Alembic provides secondary name service for more than 200 domains and assist other organizations with DNS zone editing and other Internet connectivity issues. proponent of the OpenBSD operating system.
